Wellness & Preventative Services

A full nose-to-tail check-up is essential to have for your pet each year.  During your wellness visit, you’ll talk with a doctor about your pet’s lifestyle to determine which vaccines are essential.  We’ll talk about dental care, parasite control, skin & coat health, nutrition, behavior, and any other questions or concerns you may have.  We recommend wellness exams twice yearly for seniors - they can age quickly and it’s SO important to keep them happy and healthy as long as we can.

Behavior

Mental health is just as important for pets as it is for people!  If your pet is acting abnormally or you’ve got a behavior issue you’ve been working on, we’re here to help.  The team at Cobb & Co LOVES behavior and has resources available to help keep the bond between you and your pet as strong as ever.

Nutrition

A healthy pet starts with a healthy diet!  A nutrient-rich diet ensures your pet stays healthy from the inside out.  Species-specific, well-balanced nutrition gives your pet the upper hand when it comes to their immune system.  Keeping your pet at a healthy weight helps keep organ systems, bones and joints healthy, too!

Dentistry

Your pet LOVES their mouth - loves to eat, loves to chew, loves to give big, sloppy, kisses … and we love to help them keep their mouth clean & comfortable!  Annual dental cleanings with full mouth digital radiographs allow us to see not only the crowns of the teeth, but also the roots to address oral health issues before they become a problem.  Our team can help you to create an oral health plan that works for you & your pet.

Surgery

From spay/neuter and dental procedures to soft tissue surgeries and more, we are ready for your pet’s surgical needs.  Patient comfort and safety are our top priorities and pain management is at the forefront of all our surgical procedures.  Our team will discuss options for your pet’s procedure to help you make informed decisions about your best friend’s care.

Please note: Cobb & Co Veterinary Clinic does not perform cat declaws, ear croppings, or tail dockings.  These procedures are considered ethically controversial, and we have chosen to allow animals to keep these necessary body parts.

Rescue Partnerships

Saying that Dr. Cobb is obsessed with rescue pets is well … an understatement.  As the founder of Second City Canine Rescue, she lives and breathes rescue, with the perspective of both a rescuer and a veterinarian.  Is your rescue interested in becoming one of our partners?  Email info@cobb.vet - we’d love to help!

Palliative / End-of-Life Care

You love your pet - and we want to help you keep him comfortable and pain-free as much as you do.  We are here to help you understand the disease process he may be going through, as well as provide pain management and other palliative treatments when your pet is declining.

It’s never easy to say goodbye - especially to your constant companion.  The word “euthanasia” literally means “good death”, and when it is time for that, we are honored to provide that final gift to your best friend.  If you need to talk to someone about making that tough decision, we are here for you.
