DVMs

Dr. Jacquie Cobb LOVES coming to work every day with this incredible team!  She has a passion for animals, travel, and good bourbon.  She founded Second City Canine Rescue in 2011 and enjoys cultivating the human-animal bond more than anything in the world.  After starting out in animal rescue and packaging sales, she decided to go back to school to pursue her calling in veterinary medicine as a second career.

Dr. Nicole Gilbert has always loved animals and as a kid, would drag any stray or wounded creature home that she found – much to her parents’ dismay!  Dr. Gilbert enjoys embarking on exciting adventures with her scruffy dog named Vinny. She lived in Seoul, South Korea for a few years growing up and her favorite foods include anything that requires chopsticks.  She loves bike riding, cooking, traveling, gardening, and anything crafty.  She paid for her undergraduate education decorating cakes in a bakery and jumps at the chance to make fun, crazy cakes for friends & family!

Practice Manager

Nina’s passion for the human-animal bond led her to a lifelong career in animal care over 15 years ago.  She and her family love mountain biking, hiking, and being outdoors.  She shares our clinic’s passion, drive, and love for the animals and the people that care for them.  As practice manager, she has found a calling in helping our entire team learn and grow.

CHO (Chief Happiness Officer)

Dan’s big smile can often be seen during his part-time work at the CHO of Cobb & Co. Ever wonder why the staff at the clinic is always so happy? It’s because this smile is contagious.

When she’s not tending to your beloved pets, you can find her wrangling two mischievous dogs, Penny and Oliver, and joining her adventurous cat named Lint in their quest for trouble. This dynamic trio may be a handful, but Ali cherishes every moment spent with them! She takes immense pleasure in providing exceptional care for your pets and finds joy in taking care of them as if they were her own family members.

With her dedication and diverse talents, Allison brings an extra touch of creativity and enthusiasm to our team.

Jessica received her associate's in veterinary technology from Joliet Junior College in 2014, but her love for animals started long before that.
